Do you excel in geometric measurement techniques or are you ready for the next step in your career as a 3D measurement engineer? Then we would like to meet you!

The job

VDL Konings has a solid growth ambition and is therefore looking for a new colleague to strengthen our quality team. Preferably, you have knowledge of geometric measurement techniques in addition to your technical background. You are responsible for performing dimensional checks on our 3D measuring machine (Wenzel LH1210) and Faro Measuring Arm (Quantum M MAX) and other measuring equipment. You do the programming of these measuring tools in PolyWorks. With First Article Inspections (FAI), process and final checks, you support the development and production process. Your input and insight determine the quality of our products. As a 3D Measurement Technician you will:

• Review technical drawings with which you will write the measurement programmes;
• Determine the measurement methods and the deployment of measuring equipment. For this, you are in contact with various departments;
• Perform measurements according to the measurement programmes drawn up and analyse and report measurements;
• Calibrate measurement and control equipment and manage the database;
• Set up the 3D measurement process with our Faro measuring arm.

Your profile as a Measurement Technician
