Regio: Echt Werkuren: 40 uur per week Opleidingsniveau: HBO Dienstverband: Fulltime Provincie: Limburg Vakgebied: Logistiek, Commercieel For one of our relations, situated in Echt, we are looking for a Strategic Buyer. As a strategic buyer you are primarily responsible for the EMEA market and you control the entire purchasing process from RFQ, negotiation to contracting and implementation, with an eye for quality in relation to price and total cost of ownership. You are experienced in the field of procurement, you have market knowledge in various procurement areas and you ensure a good market analysis.

Your responsibilities:

• Sourcing to new suppliers and renegotiating existing agreements with current suppliers;
• Own continuous improvement initiatives to improve costs and supplier performance;
• Manage supplier relationship;
• Play an active role to improve the procurement process and supply chain;
• Purchasing various products in a very wide working area (Security products, Fire detection, and Fire suppression).

Wat vragen wij

What we are looking for:

• You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in strategic sourcing;
• You are proactive, well-organized, independent, dynamic and a team player;
• Fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage;
• Good knowledge of JD Edwards is an advantage;
• You have technical affinity;
• You have good oral and written communication skills;
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills.
